Right after I posted my Donnie update, some new Boston Blue news came out! The show will take over the Friday night spot that Blue Bloods used to be in. Also, in this article from Deadline, they announced Donnie’s partner, detective Lena Peters, will be played by Sonequa Martin-Green. It also said “Brandon Sonnier & Brandon Margolis will showrun and executive produce. Jerry Bruckheimer, KristieAnne Reed and Wahlberg will also serve as executive producers.”
