Inside Jonathan and Jordan Knight's childhood home

The former Knight family house is currently on the market and even though I'm sure it looks very different from when they lived there as kids I thought it was neat to see the inside of a building that has been a part of New Kids history. The Boston Globe posted a small photo gallery in 2008.

Here's what it looks like today. Sadly it suffered some damage last year due to a burst pipe. I think it would a neat project for Jonathan to fix up and feature on his TV show!

Introducing 10 Melville Avenue, a 23 room, 6000+ sq/ft Victorian residence sited on an enormous 35, 000 sq/ft lot in the coveted Melville Park section of Dorchester. Originally built in 1880 by George Meacham, designer of the Boston Public Garden, the home has tall ceilings, spacious rooms and much of its original Victorian detail intact. The house is set back from the street and features a porte-cochere as well as a carriage house. The property was most recently used for religious + community services, and stands ready for its next chapter. Potential uses include single family, multi-family or institutional uses. While lovingly maintained, the interior of the home suffered damage from a frozen pipe last year, and some rooms have been gutted to the studs. The carriage house is also in need of extensive repair. Your opportunity to own an amazing property with boundless potential on a huge lot. See agent for further details.
