Fresno - April 16th

According to FresnoBee.com, the guys have a concert in Fresno scheduled for April 16th. Here are the details:

If you're a New Kids on the Block fan who has been hangin' tough for a Fresno date on the group's reunion tour -- your dream has come true.

NKOTB will perform April 16 at Save Mart Center. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday and cost $20, $39.50, $59.50 and $79.50.

In 2008, the New Kids reformed after 15 years, releasing a new album, "The Block," and starting a reunion tour with all five original members.

The tour had been in California on its early legs, stopping in San Jose, Los Angeles and San Diego, but there wasn't a Fresno date on the schedule until Monday.

It won't be the group's first Fresno stop. NKOTB performed at the Wilson Theatre (1989) and Selland Arena (1991) during the height of its teeny-bopper popularity. At the time, it had young girls around the country singing along to "Hangin' Tough," "You Got It (The Right Stuff)" and "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)."

Tickets for the Save Mart Center show will be available at the Save Mart Center box office; at Ticketmaster locations, including many Save Mart supermarkets; online at ticketmaster.com; or by calling (559) 485-8497.
