JOEY MAC SAYS…

How ’bout a good ol’ fashioned blog.

This feels like using a rotary phone compared to twitter. Wow! I can
actually finish my thought here and not be sweating to death trying to
get it all in in a hundred and forty characters. Aaahhhh, this is nice.
Hmmm… Let me take a moment and collect my thoughts- what a novelty.
Well, let me see… We had another amazing show in Saskatoonia
( that’s what I like to call it- I add an (ia) to it).
I was hit by a recurring thought as I looked into the eyes of a girl
in the front row. How will I ever explain to each of you what it means
to be able to do what I do for such an audience? It’s such a blessing.
It pushes me to do more. To want more. To be all the things I think I
can be. And I thought of how I ‘get off’ on meeting people that to me
really ‘get it.’ There is a diverse group of people that we attract
and it mirrors the diversity of this group. And when you find those
moments with people when you are on the same page- whether its a look
or a comment or a joke or a story- and you really connect… Well, it’s
like sex to me. It’s that good. And it turns me on and it makes me want
more.
Now put that in your twit and smoke it.

Yes, I agree with you when you say it is hard to try to get what you want to say in 140 characters. I am constantly deleting. Your message today blew me away but it is true when you connect with someone and they get what you are sayin' it is like sex.
Hope you are having a great day wherever you are and enjoy your family as time goes by quick when our children are babies.

My 8 year old daughter ( an nkotb fan as of last Thursday lol ) and I went to your show in Winnipeg and I can say honestly that I have never been to a concert where I could feel the energy on such an intense level. I wish we could have been situated closer to the stage but we enjoyed every minute we were there... and I can believe what you say about the twitter thing ... Im so new to the twit scene( does that even make sense? ) but I am so glad you guys are back and better than ever , keep up the great work!!

It is hard with only 140 characters to work with. But it is soooooooooo cool to kinda be "talking" to you in real time. If that is what you would call it. We as fans soooooo appreciate you taking your time to try and answer our tweets! It is just awesome! I wish I could go to all your concerts! I hope to someday meet you and I just hope you know how much I appreciate you! You were for many of us our first crush!! Our wall were covered floor to ceiling with posters. I hope to someday look into those beautiful blue eyes of yours. Thinking of that is pretty much a turn on! Hope you guys get back around here!! Never change! You are too funny and down to Earth! We love you for all you are!
Hope all is well! And stay safe! xoxoxoxo

Joe, it was nice to read a complete thought :) each time I reply I delete about a million times to fit what I actually want to say, but I have to say thanks for being on twitter too. It really takes your interactions with fans to a more personal level and shares a bit of your personality too. (as much as can be captured in 140 characters at a time) Can't wait to see you on the summer tour! We have friends getting married on the day of the Detroit show so we are taking it on the road to catch another show. Thanks again. :)

Oh my goodness, I so agree with you, not been on twitter for long, but i already see what you mean.

I do agree with another gal though, who mentioned that it was unfair to mention sex, I do get what you mean... but its got my mind racing.

Much Love Joey

To the NKOTB: You guys have touched so many lives with just your words..... that has to make you feel like a million!!!! We support you in all that you do and the concerts & cruise are such a HIGH for some of us. It's like being in a different world for a few short hours. I wish you guys could feel the anticipation (sorry if not spelled right) that is b4 and then how long it takes to come down after. It is like the best drug in the world and yet the worst!!!! We plan for months to buy the tickets at 10:00am the morning they go on sale to get the BEST seats, then we plan for the travel to the show, just the right outfit(down to the shoes), we get there in time to check into the hotel, shower and do our hair & make-up, gotta brush the teeth and take gum just incase......... then off to the show!!! What a rush seeing you guys, hearing the songs that we have sang since we were 15 years old and then all the new stuff that is such a BIG turn on for us "GROWN WOMEN" then it's over... We rush to the back to stand by the bus to get a possible picture, hug or even a kiss and then guess what??? You guys get on your bus and drive away leaving all us HOT CHICKS to go back to the hotel and ponder what just went down.

I just saw you in Saskatoon(ia) on Saturday night, and oh my, what a show!
I've had to wait 20 years for you boys to come back, and you guys are as great as you were back then.
I hope you come back to Saskatchewan soon as we all love you here.
Say hello to all the boys, especially my Danny (he's so cute)...
Later love,
Sandra - Northern Saskatchewan's Biggest NKOTB fan!

I totally get what you are saying. Sometimes you cross a person or people in your life who could potentially be one of your soulmates. People you can really connect with and share something special. I have some of the best friends in the whole wide world (can't forget my man.) Most of them I have been friends with for about 14 years now. I could honestly say we are all soulmates. It was meant to be, and extremely hard to fight.

You just have to accept and embrace it.

From the girl with the awesome jacket in Saskatoonia, actually from Edmontonia, Albertia :)

P.S. My sisters will rocking it out at your show in Victoria.
