I will post more about BlockCon later this week, but I just wanted to share some of the newsworthy things that were mentioned.
Donnie said they recorded some additional material when they were working on "The Block", and it’s been sitting in a “vault”. Since this fall will mark the 15th anniversary of the release of that album, they will be reissuing that album with additional material!
As they were saying goodbye at the ballpark on Sunday Donnie hinted their next tour will be outdoor venues. When he was talking about their upcoming events coming “soon” (such as their shows in California, Joe’s solo shows, and the cruise), I think he made it sound like there would be another event soon around “The Block” anniversary. That album was released on September 2, 2008.
And one other piece of exciting news is that they plan on doing more BlockCons again in the future!
