I just wanted to give a special shout out to Maria aka @yikes77. NKOTB News would not be possible without help from BH’s, but there is probably no one who has helped with New Kids on the Block content used on this site more than her! She took the time to upload as many of their TV appearances as possible for those that that could not watch it or who live outside the region that the show aired. She kept those that could not attend events such as the NKOTB cruises in mind and shared her personal videos from those events on YouTube so the rest of us could enjoy them.
Sadly, she posted on Twitter today that her health is declining and she is going into palliative care.
Despite battling cancer over the past two years, she still helped others by raising money for Jewish General Hospital and West Island Cancer Wellness Centre in Montreal. She made face masks and raffled off some of her personal autographed NKOTB merchandise to raise money for in hopes of helping others dealing with cancer.
So please take a moment to send her some positive thoughts and prayers.
